We are Name Toolkit, and this is our blog. If you enter some words into our website, we check to see if they are available as a domain name, and give a whole lot more suggestions similar to your idea.
For our first post, a little back story.
We are a couple of guys, and we had a business idea. We spent five days brain-straining (it literally hurt) to come up with a business name, that we could also register as a domain name. Finally, we got one. Hurrah! - or not.
Unfortunately, we waited until our company name was legally registered before we tried to register the domain name. During our search for good ideas, one of us must have used a less-than-scrupulous domain-checking service to find out if our business name was available as a dot com. When we tried to register the domain, it was gone. It was a made-up word, of no use to anybody but us!
Grrr... We wrote down everything that we did to come up with our domain name, and a whole lot more. We scavenged the word for gigantic linguistic data sets, and we automated our process.
